Facts About the Ragdoll Cat
INTRODUCTION
Ragdoll cats are beautiful, affectionate, intelligent, and laid-back companions. Due to their mild-manner, Ragdolls are ideal indoor companions. Their large size contrasts with their gentle and sweet personalities. Weighing up to 20 pounds and possessing silky soft fur, the Ragdoll is a gentle giant in tune with its human’s emotions and routines and ready to cuddle no matter what kind of day you’ve had.
Ragdolls love and want human attention but will not demand it. They generally go with the flow and use their big blue eyes and loud, throaty purr to let you know they are happy, especially when they go limp in your lap, giving them their name. Ragdoll cats were created as a breed in the 1960s.
