Facts About the Blue Tarantula
INTRODUCTION
Blue Tarantulas (also known as Cobalt Blue Tarantulas) live in the monsoon area of southeast Asia. They live in a maze of tunnels. They have beautiful blue coloring on their legs which is where they get their name.
They are medium-sized tarantulas. Male and females look the same until they reach full maturity. They inject venom when they bite, and they mostly eat insects. They are nocturnal and usually come out at night. They have eight eyes. They also have eight legs.
